Appropriators are the group of Congress people that are recipients of the appropriations request. They get to ultimately determine if the line item will be added to the FY2024 Appropriations. They are listed in the section 'Appropriations Committees Ranking Members'. We need to aim member outreach to these individuals where we have members who can share their stories as their constituents.

Only some bill cosponsors actively support, as sign-ons, the JCLSA Appropriations Request for the law's implementation. Only 6 of our 28 cosponsors have signed the request. We must make them aware of this vital effort so that they can enlist.
